2026 First Tee - raritan valley College Scholarship

The First Tee – Raritan Valley College Scholarship recognizes high school seniors who have been active FTRV participants for at least three years and demonstrate academic achievement (3.25+ GPA), leadership, and character development.

Applicants submit a full application package — including transcripts, test scores, two recommendation letters, a golf resume, and four short essays — by May 24, 2026.

Interviews are conducted in late May, with winner(s) announced June 8, 2026.

Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient's accredited college or university for tuition, fees, books, or room and board.

Scholarship Program Timeline:

  • Application released on April 17th, 2026 (Please complete application before submitting any components and recommendations.)
  • Application along with ALL required materials are due by May 24th, 2026
  • Interviews will be conducted Late May (Interviews to be conducted in person at our office at Galloping Hill Golf Course)
  • Winner(s) will be announced by June 8th – Winners will need to attend First Tee – Raritan Valley Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 22nd at Spring Brook Coutry Club in Morristown, NJ.

  • Letters of Recommendation

    Two letters of recommendation are required by the Scholarship Selection Committee. These letters of recommendation should be sent directly by the person doing the recommending by email to [email protected] or, in hardcopy, to First Tee - Raritan Valley Office, Attn: Mark McCabe (1 Golf Drive, Kenilworth, NJ 07033).  These letters must be received by FTRV no later than May 24th, 2026, where they will be added to the student’s application package.  Letters of recommendation arriving after May 24th will not be considered.
